A new season has arrived in the Three Nations Senior Lacrosse League. Four teams are ready to battle for a league championship and berth to the 2017 Presidents Cup. Tyendinaga Thunderbirds are the defending league champion.

A new team will be on the league calendar this summer; Kanehsatake Warriors are joining the league on a one-year provisional status. Kanehsatake will play a limited schedule and are not eligible for the league playoffs.

Two teams from the Quebec Senior Lacrosse League will also be included on the TNSLL schedule this year. Capital Region Axemen and Kahnawake Mohawks will play a crossover schedule as well as the Quebec spot in at Presidents Cup.
